I’ve only been in town for a couple days and this was my first stop. The customer service was fantastic and the food was nothing less than amazing. I will be back often and highly recommend. It’s truly authentic!!!
Delicious & fresh food, amazing seasoning - we got two vegetarian dishes and loved it!! The place is nice and very clean. Staff were so friendly and welcoming! In terms of location, you might drive right by it, but it’s definitely worth trying!
Food is very good, this was my first experience with this style of food and am highly impressed! The owner and her daughter were very excited for us to experience this. It’s such a unique flavor but it is delicious. Definitely recommend!!!
Just left a little gem in Hamilton. My first experience with African cuisine was such a positive one. Four of us shared the PLENTIFUL dishes-- you will not leave hungry!--such as fufu and peanut soup, egusi, beans and plantains, excellent fried chicken and jollof rice. The staff was so kind and friendly and enjoyed sharing their beautiful culture with us. I highly recommend coming to see for yourself.
Came to visit Ohio on vacation and found this gem. My Ghanian bf was so happy to find this restaurant. Owner is very kind and food is great!
The staff are great people and definitely know how to run a business and treat their customers great. There culture is great and trying these new foods was the best decision I could have made. Fufu, fried plantains, beans, rice, and goat curry it’s amazing. I will continue to come here!!! Check them out!!!!
coming from the entrance, you might think it’s nothing to write home about but upon entering it is so beautiful. The set up was on point ,not just that ,the food was equally great. I had Jollof rice and goat meat and my partner had Banku and tilapia. I must confess it was worth the trip, I will recommend it to anyone in or around Ohio Hamilton who wants to have a real feel of great Ghanaian food.
Best place to eat if you are ever in Cincinnati Ohio. The food is 10/10 customer service is out of this world. The inside of the place reminds me of back home . They indeed brought Africa to the USA. 10/10 for me.
Stopped in tonight for the first time. Had no idea what to get asked for recommendation and got jollof rice with goat because why not. It's great the rice is delicious, it has some heat to it which is great. Goat is good never had it before i would get it again but I want to try other stuff. The people were super friendly and helpful. Really glad I stopped in can't wait to get back to try something else.
Food is great. I got red snapper, snapper was so good rice, cabbage (was really a small salad) and supposed to have fried plantains and didn't. Was super disappointed that the $22 meal didn't have the plantains...I really wanted them....
I absolutely love the vegan dish. A good friend brought me to try it out last week. I had to return. Fresh and flavorful. It’s is definitely going in my dining rotation.
I just recently found out about this restaurant and I went to check them out. The food was great, actually the quantity was amazing for a $17 meal. The owners are so nice and friendly. I will definitely be going back!
I really enjoyed the food! I ordered an egusi soup with fufu that was amazing! I also ordered a jollof rice to go that I’m excited to try later in the day. I strongly recommend!!!

First time at this place. Ordered the goat and fried rice. The goat was well seasoned and the rice was delicious. Loved the fact that there was a little crunch remaining in the vegetables. Will definitely be returning.
It was my first time eating fufu and it was absolutely delicious! The service was wonderful and everyone was so so sweet. If you want a taste of Africa, please come down! We live 2 hours away and it was definitely worth the trip.
I came here today with friends, two of us had okra, one had Tilipia. The portions were very big and the food was very tasty. I had okra and it was very tasty. The only issue was the service, there was no hostess when we arrived but we eventually got seated. I would recommend.
The food here is absolutely amazing! Every time I come, it feels like I'm home. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with the delicious dishes, makes me feel so comfortable and at ease. Plus, the customer service is top-notch - the staff are always friendly and attentive. I love coming here and can't wait to come back!
My husband and I had never tried African food before, so we gave it a try. We really enjoyed our meals, and will definitely go back. I had waakye, and my husband had the plantains and beans. My dinner had beef and fish; hubby`s had fish and chicken. I would go back just to get the fried plantains again! Very nice folks--they have only been open since January 2024. We highly recommend this restaurant.
I recently ordered takeout at this restaurant boasting an African-themed ambiance. While the fried rice was exceptionally flavorful, I found the portion size modest compared to the $18 price tag. I suggest the management consider revising the portion size to better align with the cost, enhancing the overall dining experience.
This place is great!Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is also really friendly.The food is pretty good and tasteful. Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. Absolutely the best meal i had while in ohio. Highly recommend for everyone!!!!
The food was amazing (and plentiful) and the staff took the time to explain what certain foods (that I was not familiar with) were. They also offered that, because they had only been there a few months, there were some items on the menu not yet available. I appreciated that so I didn't select something only to be told they do not have it. I will be back!
The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was electrifying. The service was a little lackluster, but they were very friendly and humorous. Definitely would come here again!
I love this place .finally able to find authentic African “fufu with goat soup” that I can wholeheartedly enjoy. The food taste good just like home made 10/10 . great customer service by Yaw. You will not regret if you should visit this place.
First time coming here and first time trying FuFu. Looking at the place from the outside it's just a spot in a strip plaza but don't let that stop you from going in. The staff were awesome, inviting and helpful. The place inside is clean and just as welcoming as the staff. After talking to the staff we made our order, it did take a little longer that anticipated but it was worth the wait. We ordered the plantains, FuFu and Peanut Chicken Soup and Jerk Chicken. Every bit of it was absolutely delicious. I haven't had plantains that good since I grew up in South Florida! Jerk chicken was on the money and the FuFu and Peanut Soup was loaded with flavor and a little spicy. We will absolutely be coming back here again! Awesome experience!
Food is prepared hot, fresh, and the wait time is about 20 minutes per order. Dine in is spacious and the seating is fast. Place offers TVs on the wall for sport viewing or tv viewing, as well as beverages, but no wine or liquor. The owner George is a great guy and works to make sure the customer is satisfied with the service and food. Place is located in Hamilton Ohio, the old plaza, and parking is never an issue. If you are in the area, try them out, food will not be of a disappointment.
I had the grilled tilapia with fried yams, and it was absolutely amazing. The red and green sauces were full of authentic flavor not watered down at all. Even though I’m from The Gambia and not of Ghanaian origin, this dish was made just like how we ate it back home in West Africa. The food is cooked the right way, with care and patience. This is not fast food African meals take time, and these folks do it properly. When the food arrives, it’s 100% authentic and worth the wait. The restaurant is very neat and welcoming. This is the best Ghanaian restaurant I’ve eaten at in the Cincinnati area. Highly recommend.
